Moto E: Android Phone you should buy!

Moto E: The Affordable KitKat

Motorola on the roll in India, after their launches of Moto X and Moto G in India, they bring to India a phone that is made for India. Why you ask? Well first is the price, Motorola has launched its newest Moto E at a price point of Rs 6,999. We can definitely say that this is affordable for anybody looking for a a power packed Android Device at a low price. And second and the most exciting thing is that it comes with the latest Android KitKat Version(4.4). Never thought that you can get the latest android version in a phone this cheap right?

Lets take a look at the device.

Display:

The device packs a 4.3 inch screen with 540x960 qHD display with 256 ppi(pixels per inch). Now what's even more interesting is that it comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which features an Anti smudge coating. Now what does that mean, well it simply means that none of the others are giving you such  display at this price point specially with the Corning Gorilla Glass.

Operating System:

The device comes with Android KitKat version 4.4, this is the latest android version so you'll be getting a good User Interface along with all the new services that Google has included in this version such as Google Now. The device has a 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual core processor working with 1GB of RAM. So let me tell you- No Lag!! Along with this there is Adreno 302 graphics processor for you to play games.

Camera:

The device has a 5MP camera, although it does not have any flash. The device also does not contain any front camera. So now you know where Motorola cut back to make this device more affordable. The camera also captures videos at 30 FPS in FWVGA resolution.

Storage:

The device only has 4GB internal storage that means the user gets only about 2GB of storage for other apps. But hey! It supports upto 32 GB of microSD card and these days we all got to have one. Right?

Connectivity:

The device supports all the basic connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi and micro USB. The Bluetooth in the device is the latest 4.0, hence more transfer speeds.

Battery:

The Moto E does not hold back on battery also.It packs a 1980 mAh Li-Ion battery which may lasts up to a day without charge. Impressive as none of its contender provide such high capacity battery.

Design:

Moto E is impressively designed for people who don't mind colourful phones. It has built quality similar to its two older brothers in the market Moto X and G. The dimensions are:

Height:124.8 mm
Width:64.8 mm
Depth:12.3 mm
Weight:142 g

In a nut shell, Moto E may be another successful launch by Motorola to bring its share back in the Indian market. With features like latest Android version which may be otherwise seen only in Flagship devices of other brands, Moto E brings to the consumer a phone with which they can experience Google's Services. Although the device cut backs in Camera but it still holds good for people who want to have an experience of KitKat. It also promises to be the first to provide all the relevant updates in the future. So buy Moto E if you are not Mobile Phone Photographer and only want to experience KitKat. Its still better than all the other phones of indigenous brands at same price.
